GM Licensed Shift Knob for any 2010 - 2012 Camaro with manual transmission. Premium quality 2-1/8" diameter shift knob with Pearl Grey Rally Stripes and your choice of shift pattern. GM Official Camaro SS logo on each side. Other colors & Camaro logo options are available. Comprised of specially formulated high-impact polymer resin specifically designed to meet performance level torque and temperature requirements. This knob has a 16mm x 1.50 Brass master insert and comes with a threaded Brass adapter & jam nut in the size of your choice.

2010 and newer Camaros have a non-threaded factory shifter and require one of the following options for application:

1. Order a Non-Threaded Adapter Kit which is threaded to accept the knob and fastens to the shifter with 3 set screws. The shifter boot should then be zip-tied to the shifter beneath the Adapter. Polished Aluminum finish.
2. Order the knob with a Universal Master Insert which has 3 set screws on the underside of the knob. Then order a Camaro Boot Retainer to secure the shifter boot. The boot retainer has a Black Anodized finish.

Shift Knob Adapter Installation Instructions:

1. Determine correct Adapter and Jam Nut size.
2. Clean all threads prior to installation.
3. Thread Jam Nut onto shifter until at least 1/2" of threads are visible above Jam Nut.
4. Place flat washer on shifter above Jam Nut (for smaller shifter diameters only).
5. Thread Adapter onto shifter until it touches the Jam Nut (or flat washer).
6. Install Shift Knob onto Adapter until in becomes snug.
CAUTION - DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
7. Turn knob counter-clockwise until graphics are in desired position.
8. Turn Jam Nut counter-clockwise until it is tight against bottom of Adapter.
DO NOT ALLOW SHIFT KNOB TO "BOTTOM OUT" ON SHIFTER SHAFT.

• The NON-THREADED adapter kit enables you to put a 16mm x 1.50 threaded Speed Dawg shift knob on a non-threaded shifter. Polished aluminum finish with 3 set screws. Inside diameter is 5/8". Includes 3 nylon sleeves with inside diameters of 9/16", 1/2", and 3/8".
• The UNIVERSAL INSERT & BOOT RETAINER has 3 set screws on the underside of the knob. The Boot Retainer is then used to secure the shifter boot.The boot retainer has a Black Anodized finish.
