Fueled by the passion for American muscle cars, trucks and legendary WWII aircrafts such as the P-51 and B-25, North American Tuning was founded in June 2006. The company name itself was inspired by the maker for these warbirds: North American Aviation.

Driven by the idea to use the 2005 Ford Mustang to pay tribute to the legendary P-51 aircraft and brave men who flew them, North American Tuning started to work on a P-51 conversion right after the company creation: custom P-51 emblems, color scheme, body panels, performance modifications, etc. The result is a stunning and unique automobile.

Only 51 conversions are being offered for the model year 2008 and include the following modifications:

Exterior Styling: Modified front fascia with custom paint and P-51™ emblem, modified and functional hood, rear quarter side panel scoops, modified driver and passenger fenders, original design Pinup and North American Tuning logo on front quarter lower panel, modified rear spoiler, modified rear bumper, aftermarket 20 inch front and rear wheels with painted calipers, retro-style replacement painted mirrors and aircraft-style billet fuel door.

Interior Styling: Billet A/C knob kit, billet mirror control bezel kit, aluminum map light accent trim, aluminum shoulder belt mount accent trim, aluminum door lock knob grommets, aluminum door lock knobs, aluminum manual shifter bezel and shift knob (for manual transmission), embroidered “P-51” logo on seat head rest.

Engine Dress-Up: Custom P-51™ engine plenum cover, painted shock tower cover and painted fuse box cover.

Performance Modifications: 20HP Power upgrade pack (90mm cold air intake, performance air filter, performance exhaust muffler kit and computer tuner), lowering springs and aluminum hood with heat extractor grilles..

The P-51™ is in production now. Conversion pricing starts at $14,995.+ transportation to/from Ford dealerships. Expect minimum four weeks lead-time depending on demand.
